We are partnering with a forward-thinking organization to find an experienced IT Support Administrator to ensure the smooth operation and support of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch technical support, maintaining system integrity, and driving IT excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and other systems.
- Provide support for on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Office 365 and SaaS applications.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment purchases, repairs, and service escalations.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN configurations.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
